Cole began his career in the electrical trade working in industrial electrical control systems in Boston. He later joined Raytheon Corporation, where he worked on a major Department of Defense radar project for the U.S. Navy. This included remote duty on Amchitka Island in Alaska, home to the world’s largest radar system at the time.

 

After nearly two years in Alaska, he was promoted and relocated to Chesapeake, Virginia to lead the installation of additional radar systems across the Western Hemisphere. Following the end of the Cold War and subsequent program cuts, he took a leave from Raytheon to explore other opportunities.

 

During this time, he managed several large-scale projects on Martha’s Vineyard and Cape Cod, including work at Otis Air Force Base, the Oak Bluffs School, and the Edgartown Wastewater Treatment Facility. That experience led him to establish full-time residency on the Vineyard in 1994, where he decided to launch his own electrical contracting business.

He has proudly served the island community for over 30 years, bringing decades of experience in complex electrical systems and project management to every job.
